Janece Daniel, Community Assistant

A youth advocate, who believes that no matter the level of adversity faced, girls can go anything.

Janece loves working with I Am A Girl and has transitioned from being a mentee in 2014 to now having a key role in growing the community.

She desires to be a professional volunteer and/or use her skills and intelligence to leave a positive legacy others can live up to.

Tamia Reece, Mentee Representative

Tamia Reece is a 17 year old student with a dream to some day become an international chef, and those professional goals will allow her to fulfil her passion of fighting against mental health, especially for girls and children.  

 

Forming part of the mentee community since 2016, she has made her mark over the years as Peer Leader, and most recently as youth advocate for violence and neglect.

Kemar Holder, Team Member

An Accountant by profession; functioned as District Youth Treasurer for the Wesleyan Holiness Church

in recent years, and has vast experience within the NGO sphere locally and regionally.

 

He is a passionate, articulate and assiduous individual, who loves life, and is committed to everything

he puts his heart, mind and hands to.   

Tammy Lashley, Team Member

A Systems Analyst, a proud Mother, and Female Motorsport Enthusiast.

 

She aims, with this position, to encourage all girls and women to challenge the perception of women

being involved in male-dominated sports, especially Motorsports.

Gabrielle Bailey, Team Member

A youth and gender rights activist and psychology graduate, who is passionate, hard working and independent.

 

She prides herself on being a strong believer in good and doing what she can to help others.

 

Gabrielle is a lover of books and theatre arts, and fiercely protective of those she loves.
